Job Overview:
A La Liga club is looking for an ambitious and motivated candidate for the position within the Sponsorship Sales Team to be located in Bengaluru, India. The Sponsorship Sales Manager will be responsible for revenue generation through the acquisition of commercial partners in key sponsorship categories, leading the sales approach on behalf of the club.
The successful candidate should be an exceptional seller, with experience in global/national/multi-million-dollar commercial sales. The selected candidate will bring a dynamic, hands-on approach to sales management and will have experience in developing and closing innovative brand partnerships.

Main Responsabilities:
- Lead and execute regional sponsorship sales, through prospecting, negotiating, and closing with relevant brands, in order to meet department and personal targets;
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified prospective clients;
Work within the wider sales team on developing the Club’s sponsorship offering and tailoring it for specific clients; - Coordinate with clients and international advertising agencies to cultivate relationships and present specific pitches;
- Demonstrate a structured, methodical approach across all sales processes ensuring extensive market and category coverage;
- Utilise the Club’s CRM database to track progression along the sales pipeline;
- Ensure a professional outbound approach with the aim to impress from the outset and position the club as a premium sponsorship proposition;
- Design custom packages and turnkey solutions for brands to showcase the comprehensive marketing platform available;
- Utilise data and market insight resources to close complex multi-year deals and justify sponsorship ROI;
- Successfully develop integrated packages combining classical sponsorship, digital and media assets;
- Must be able to work and collaborate in a high-performing team environment, where allocated budget targets are being met and exceeded, leading to year-on-year growth.

- Recognized top-performing sales executive for a rights holder, media agency, or sports property.
- Demonstrated success in securing multi-million-dollar, multi-year sponsorship agreements
- Proven expertise in driving structured sponsorship sales processes, ensuring efficiency and results.
- Boasts an extensive black book featuring global C-suite contacts, facilitating strategic partnerships and impactful collaborations.
- Experienced in a target-driven business environment.
- Possesses a comprehensive understanding of hospitality and event assets, optimizing their value within sponsorship agreements.
- Distinguished by excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills, key assets in driving successful business engagements.

This position is based in Bengaluru, India. Willingness to travel, work evenings, weekends and holidays is required.
