Youth Football International (YFI) is a premier football training institution in New Delhi dedicated to developing young players through structured, age-appropriate coaching. Role Overview:

The Youth Coach will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, safe, and progressive football sessions for academy players aged 7 - 18 years. The role demands a balance between technical instruction, character development, and fostering a love for the game. The coach will work closely with the Academy Director to align all training with the academy’s curriculum and philosophy.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality training sessions that follow the academy’s player development framework.
• Provide age-appropriate technical, tactical, physical, and psychological training.
• Monitor player progress through regular assessments, maintaining accurate player development records.
• Promote positive values such as discipline, teamwork, respect, and sportsmanship.
• Identify and nurture talented players with potential to progress to higher competition levels.
• Liaise with parents and guardians to provide feedback on player performance and development.
• Ensure training sessions are safe, inclusive, and compliant with academy safeguarding policies.
• Assist in organising and coaching academy teams for matches, tournaments, and friendly fixtures.
• Support talent identification and recruitment efforts for the academy.
• Stay updated with best coaching practices and participate in ongoing coach education programmes.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:
• AIFF D License (minimum) or equivalent; preference for C or B License holders.
• Proven experience coaching youth players in an academy or club environment.
• Strong understanding of age-specific training methods and player development cycles.
• Ability to inspire, motivate, and positively influence young athletes.
• Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Basic first-aid certification (or willingness to obtain before joining).

Desirable Skills:
• Experience in performance analysis or video-based coaching feedback.
• Understanding of sports science principles for youth athletes.
• Background in organising football events, tournaments, or school programmes.

Working Hours & Conditions:
• Training sessions typically scheduled in afternoons/evenings during weekdays, with matches on weekends.
• Additional hours may be required during tournaments or special events.
• Outdoor working environment in varied weather conditions.
